Welcome to Leabank Square Iwona & Zibby

A big and warm welcome to our newest neighbours Iwona and Zibby. Not only are they keen gardeners, but as you can see, they are also very keen kayakers! They love the Purple Garden here in Leabank Square and can’t believe how lucky they are to have the canal right on their doorstep!

We’d like to thank them both for choosing our community to make their new home and thank them for helping to spruce up their side of the riverbank.

Hey welcome guys. Maybe we can all get the boats out one of these days and go for a paddle upstream?

Hope you're not down with more nasty bugs (physical, not electronic, though them as well). It's been such lovely weather this last few days, I hope the Olympics Time Bandits let Leabank Square enjoy the remnants of the last summer before the Deluge.

How about a post to mark the momentous "moving on" of the Shadow Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change?

I remember a certain person complaining that Eastern Europeans here aren't friendly and do not mix and ironically, it's this blog which proves that person wrong.
