I know it looks a bit small at the moment - but they grow about a foot a year - so we will be able to decorate it every Xmas from now on - as a communal Xmas Tree!
Sharon - thank you so very much - and I hope you follow it's progress through this blogsite for many years!
Many, many thanks to Sharon Phillips in Clapton for donating this amazing fir tree to Leabank Square's garden!!
Sharon didn't have any space for it in her flat - and stuck it onto Freecycle - where we spotted it!
Thanks too - to Simon who picked it up in his car for Leabank Square.

I'm so thrilled that my much-loved christmas tree has found such a good home - it looks great!
I hope you all have many happy christmases and celebrations with it in the years to come.
best wishes, sharon
Hi Sharon
Thanks - once again - for your kind donation!!
There is no way we would ever have been able to afford it - and the beauty is that it will last for much longer than the buildings surrounding it will!!
Please keep popping by the site - or better still - by Leabank Square - to check out how your tree is doing!
Sharon - loads of residents who don't have internet acess - also thank you for your kind gift! There was great excitement while we were planting it - and because it's in the entrance - EVERYONE has seen it and raved about it!!
peace
Sóna
